ABOUT
BETH SHALOM
MESSIANIC JEWISH FELLOWSHIP
TORAH PURSUANT
We believe that Yeshua (Jesus) did not abolish the Torah (teaching).
The Torah is the standard of holiness and love to both the Jewish and non-Jewish believers in Him (Romans 7:12).
Righteousness is not obtained from keeping the Torah, but the Torah teaches us how to walk in a holy life that is empowered by the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit).
WHO WE ARE
We are unashamedly and unapologetically a Messianic Jewish Fellowship pursuing the Torah of love as reflected in the holy life and walk of our Messiah Yeshua (Jesus).
Affiliated with the United Messianic Jewish Assembly (UMJA).
OUR FELLOWSHIP
Beth Shalom is a fellowship of Jewish and non-Jewish believers in Yeshua the Messiah. We study Judaism and Christianity in light of God's Word, the Bible.
We are not affiliated with the Hebrew Roots, Two House/Ephraimite, Karaite or Sacred Name movements.
Central to our focus is the Jewish Messiah Yeshua, (Jesus) as Lord and King. As a result, we encourage modest dress as an example before the Lord. Try to refrain from wearing shorts and jeans.
We believe that the spiritual gifts and manifestations that were present in the first century are to be essential to the edification of our body. All things are to be done decently and in order. If you feel you have something to share, please check with one of the leadership or the pastor. What you have to share is important. Please also know that any given tongue, interpretation or prophecy will be discerned and judged by those with the Gift of Discernment in our body.
We observe the biblical feast days, the seventh-day Sabbath, and the Holy Days.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to return back to the ancient paths (Jeremiah 6:16) by being grafted into the Olive Tree of faith (Romans 11) and coming together as Jews and Non-Jews as the One New Man (Ephesians 2).
STATEMENT OF FAITH
So that we may have unity among us, know and speak the same foundations of our faith, and have integrity in presenting our witness of Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah, we hereby establish that Beth Shalom Messianic Fellowship holds to...
